Description:
The SIM connector is a modular, multifunctional and rectangular connector, supporting advanced signal and power requirements at a fraction of the space. SIM’s simple and flexible design makes it a competitive option for a wide range of military and commercial applications including Quadrax, Triax, Twinax, Coax, fiber optic, data, signal, RJ45, high density, power, and cable-to-PCB applications. SIM modules are approved to EN4165 standards and are interchangeable with other approved EN4165 modules. SIM modules are readily available with or without peripheral sealing and as a pin or socket. SIM modules are comparable to MIL-STD-810 in performance and have multiple keying options to prevent accidental insertion. SIM overmolding technology protects the contacts with three robust silicone seals, providing an excellent seal against moisture. This results in a first-rate dielectric performance on the contacts.
